Andy Murray concluded his professional tennis career at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where he competed in the men’s doubles alongside fellow Brit Dan Evans. The duo faced off against the American pair of Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul, ultimately losing in the match. This marked a poignant end to the illustrious career of the three-time Grand Slam champion.
Andy Murray plans to develop an 80-cover restaurant to replace The Glasshouse at his hotel, Cromlix. The new venue will extend the C-listed Victorian mansion, featuring large glass windows that offer views of the hotel’s lawns. While The Glasshouse will be retained, it will be repurposed for afternoon teas and private events, ensuring both spaces complement the hotel’s offerings.
Andy Murray also intends to add three new ground-floor bedrooms to Cromlix, increasing the total from 15 to 19. Plans have been submitted to Stirling Council, which will soon decide on the proposed expansion. This development aims to enhance guest accommodations at the hotel.
