WWE RAW – Best and Worst – CM Punk to bring back iconic stipulation at Bash in Berlin; shocking betrayal after 10 years?
As we approach Bash in Berlin, WWE RAW continues to maintain its momentum. While this week’s episode may not have been as explosive as last week’s, it still delivered a solid show, keeping the excitement building for the upcoming event.
The latest episode of WWE RAW delivered some solid action and progressed ongoing storylines. Notably, we saw a significant heel turn and a teaser for another possible turn next week. Here’s a look at the biggest positives and negatives from the episode:
#3. Best: A great WWE RAW main event
Bron Breakker may have had his best showing on the main roster tonight, as he main eventer WWE RAW against Sami Zayn. The two ended their Intercontinental Championship feud with a decisive two-out-of-three falls match.
While Bron Breakker did get pinned first in the match, it happened quickly and was easily forgiven as he soon took charge. Breakker delivered three powerful spears, including one mid-air, showcasing his dominance and solidifying his reputation as a formidable competitor.
Sami Zayn also delivered an impressive performance, making this their best match to date. With Zayn’s standout performance, exciting developments are expected for the veteran on WWE RAW, and fans could soon be experiencing more “ucey” moments.
#2. Worst: The Judgment Day isn’t a threat
While it’s positive that the Judgment Day members haven’t been renamed, the faction still needs a boost to elevate their standing. Currently, the group doesn’t appear to pose much of a threat to Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, who seem to overshadow the rest. Although Finn Balor can hold his own, the others in the faction, including Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio, feel like they are on a different level compared to the dominant “Terror Twins.”
On WWE RAW, Ripley and Priest nearly took out the entire Judgment Day faction with relative ease after The Punisher’s victory over Carlito. While Ripley refrained from hitting the Riptide on Dirty Dom—a moment that deserves a more significant build-up—the Judgment Day still needs more than just a numbers advantage to become a credible threat. The faction needs to be strengthened to stand a better chance against Ripley and Priest.
As things currently stand, the mixed tag team match at Bash in Berlin could risk being a one-sided affair, with Finn Balor possibly observing from the sidelines rather than actively contributing.
#1. Worst: The end is near?
If Xavier Woods’ recent actions are not part of an elaborate ruse, The New Day may be on the verge of a breakup. This would fulfill Karrion Kross’ ominous warning, marking a significant shift for the popular faction.
Xavier Woods appeared less than enthusiastic about Odyssey Jones assisting him and Kofi Kingston in their feud against The Final Testament. Woods suggested a tag team match for next week’s WWE RAW, but Kingston altered it to a six-man match to include Jones.
With The New Day being a rare constant in a world of betrayals and shifting alliances, it’s crucial for Woods to reconcile and strengthen his bond with Kingston. Ensuring their friendship endures is vital as they navigate this turbulent period on WWE RAW.
